About the Authors
Diana Neebe, Ed.D.
Diana Neebe is a veteran high school English teacher and peer coach at an Apple Distinguished iPad Program School in California's Silicon Valley. She was named the 2014 Outstanding Young Educator for the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), and is a Google for Education Certified Innovator. She holds a doctorate in education; her research interests rest at the intersection of literacy, technology, and multimedia design. She teaches courses on curriculum design for technology-rich spaces at the University of San Francisco, where she helped create the Educational Technology Master's program. Diana regularly runs design workshops for her school and others. She presents her work nationally at conferences, and consults for schools and districts to help facilitate their 1:1 programs. Jen Roberts, MA
Jen Roberts is currently the English Department Chair and 9th grade English teacher for a large public high school in San Diego, California. With over twenty years of classroom experience, Jen also serves her school on the Instructional Leadership Team and as the Digital Teacher Leader, assisting with technology integration as the school goes 1:1 school-wide. In addition, Jen teaches pre-service teachers and online classes for the University of San Diego in the areas of literacy and technology integration. Jen is a Google for Education Certified Innovator and shares her expertise at local and national conferences, and travels to work with teachers throughout the western United States.
